Homemade Breakfast Waffles

We made some amazing sugar-free waffles for our breakfast! Everyone took it in turns to whisk the eggs until they were light and fluffy. Then we added the wet ingredients into the dry. We used the hand mixer to make the ingredients into a thick batter. Tracie then poured the batter into the waffle maker and cooked until golden brown.

The waffles were absolutely delicious and got a thumbs up from everyone!

A Ray of Sunshine

Back in early spring, all the children sowed sunflower seeds. Most of them grew as tall as five feet! Eliza got a bit impatient waiting so long for her’s to grow and nothing happened! Everyone else’s sunflowers had grown and died, the garden started to look dull until…

This little gem made an appearance!

She’s only three feet tall but perfectly formed and attracting all the wildlife.

Homemade Potted Herb Fence

The children loved helping Tracie make this herb fence. First we used the electric screwdriver to put screws in place to hold the pots to our fence. They have moulded holes on the back to make them easy to attach (from IKEA).

We then went over to the cold frame to pick the herbs we wanted to display. We chose Curry Plant, Rosemary, Lavender, Coriander, Chives and Mint. The whole fence was so pretty and fragrant the children spent the day going over and smelling them. We even had a bee visit us.
