Tracie Dowling has worked in childcare for over thirty years. She has been a Foster Care Parent, a Childminding Network Co-ordinator and now works full time as a Registered Childminder and Childminder Mentor for Department for Education in her home in Anfield. Phyllis Smith is Tracie’s mum and was a Registered Childminder until she retired, she decided to stay on as assistant to help out now and then and be a positive role model for the children.
Debbie Bithall joined the team in April 2022 as a Childminding assistant, she is currently Level 2 qualified and working towards Level 3. Since joining us she has achieved First Aid and Safeguarding certificates. Debbie has three girls, Lydia, Evie, and Elsie and works during term time.
Emma Astles has been a Childcare Assistant at Tracie’s Treasures for eight years. Tracie met Emma through childminding her two children, Olivia and George. In 2013, Emma realised she needed a career change and has been working here ever since. Tracie and Emma have a great working relationship and strong friendship outside of work.
Tracie has three children. Two adults; Gemma and Chelsea, and Poppy, who is 12 years old. Gemma also has three of her own children; Chloe, who is 11 years old. Jack 3 and baby Benjamin. Over the years, Gemma and Chelsea have helped with the business, teaching cookery, web design, assisting and planning activities. Chelsea currently runs the admin for our website.

In our home, we have two cats: Fizzy and Hebe and our amazing dog Ruby who gets on so well with the children and is hypoallergenic. Check out our blog post about our pets!
